Good Faith Estimate

Know What to Expect - No Surprises, Just Support

At Parade Wellness, transparency is a core value. We want you to feel informed and empowered—not confused—when it comes to the cost of your care. That’s why we provide a Good Faith Estimate (GFE), as part of our commitment to clear communication and client advocacy.

What Is a Good Faith Estimate?

A Good Faith Estimate is a document that outlines the expected costs of services you may receive at Parade Wellness. It’s part of the federal No Surprises Act, which helps protect clients from unexpected medical bills for services that are not covered by insurance.

Who Receives a GFE?

You’ll receive a Good Faith Estimate if:

  • You are uninsured, or

  • You are not using insurance for your services (self-pay/out-of-pocket)

If this applies to you, you’ll receive a written estimate before services begin, and you can request one at any time—even if you're just considering services.

What Does the Estimate Include?

Your Good Faith Estimate will outline:

  • The type(s) of service(s) you may receive

  • The expected frequency or number of sessions

  • The estimated total cost of services over a 12-month period

  • Your therapist’s hourly/session rate

Please note: This is just an estimate, not a bill. Your actual costs may vary based on your personal needs, goals, frequency of sessions, and changes to your treatment plan. If significant changes occur, we’ll update your estimate accordingly.

When Will I Receive My Estimate?
  • Before your first session if you’re uninsured or choosing not to use insurance

  • Within 1–3 business days of requesting one

  • You may also receive updates if your care plan changes

Your Rights

Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to:

  • Receive a Good Faith Estimate for expected healthcare costs

  • Dispute bills that are $400 or more above your estimate

  • Request clarification or a new estimate at any time
